We're very excited about a great opportunity to have Tommy's music considered for placement in major movie projects. One of the new tracks, "Moments in Time" will be added to a compilation disc of about 10 songs to be submitted to Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles, California. From there songs are chosen for placement within the movie projects that are underway at Paramount Studios. It may have been almost a year in the making but Tommy John Ehman's new CD "Wheels of Life" is finally finished and ready for you! Produced by Brad Prosko and featuring the likes of Garry Tallent of the E-Street Band, Jack Semple, Jason Heistad and Dave Chobot, the new CD stands out from the rest and is on par with other mainstream artists. Tommy, Brad and Rob back from Montana!
"It was a memorable experience" says Tommy John Ehman of their excursion to Montana to record with the legendary Garry Tallent of the E Street Band. "Garry couldn't have been more gracious and professional and his work on the album was quite simply, amazing." Dubbed "The Montana Sessions," the trip produced some great memories, friendships and as well 11 stunning bass tracks for the new album. Over the course of two very busy days in April, Garry layed down track after track of innovative and intriguing bass guitar. His years of experience with Bruce Springsteen and countless studio endeavors, showed through with "tight," professional work. Garry also expressed a keen interest in the songs and commented on several occasions that he thought the material was very strong, which means a lot coming from a man who has played with 'The Boss" for over 30 years! Garry and the three "Saskatchewan boys" worked very well together in the studio and also enjoyed each others company over lunches and coffee where a true friendship was formed. "I'm looking forward to next time already. I would love to work with Garry again and I hope we do!"
>Garry Tallent of Bruce Springsteen's "E Street Band" will bring his many years of Bass guitar experience on board to play bass on all 11 tracks. Garry has been an "E Streeter" for over 30 years and has recorded and toured the world with the one and only Bruce Springsteen. He's a very exciting addition to the recording team. >Click here for more info on Garry Tallent...
