Testimonial... "Tommy John Ehman is a passionate - pedal to the metal - type of performer who gives his all from note one to the end of the night. His love of country and his tales of the good people who live in it shine in exceptionally well crafted songs." -Mark Schmidt - Assistant Entertainment Buyer - Casino Regina and Moose Jaw

The new album has expanded by two songs! While in Calgary in late January, Tommy, Brian (Dobbs/produder) and the band recorded 2 new tracks for the new album. The boys spent the afternoons at "EK Sound Studio" where they tracked the two new songs and then played their music live each night at the County Line Saloon. The two new songs are titled "Life is a Party" and "I Can't Stay Away From You" which expands the project to 8 songs!

TJE has begun work on a brand new recording project! The 6 song EP is being produced by up and coming producer Brian Joseph Dobbs, who works primarily out of Los Angeles, California, but is spending some time in his home country of Canada to work with Tommy. Brian spent a number of years working along side legendary Canadian producer Bob Rock as a studio engineer and technician working with such acts as Metallica, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Tal Bachman and American HiFi to name just a few. In recent years Brian has been producing great records for Canadian and US independent artists and making quite a name for himself along the way. The yet untitled recording should be ready for release sometime in early 2010!

This past summer TJE helped to celebrate the North West Mounted Police trail with acoustic concerts in Wood Mountain and Val Marie, Saskatchewan. The NWMP trail is a major part of Saskatchewan's rich and stories history dating back to the late 1800's. Characters such as Chief Sitting Bull and James Wood were celebrated this summer at 6 southern Saskatchewan locations with song, dance and storytelling!
The Rural Historical & Cultural Association of Saskatchewan has posted on Youtube, a video of Tommy performing his song "The North West Mounted Police," a song written to coincide with his performance in the shows.
